This month, Apostolic Faith Church participated in the Georgia Abatement Opioid Grant, joining local partners in efforts to promote safe medication practices across the community.

As part of the initiative, twenty local churches received a total of 25 medication lock boxes during November and December. These lock boxes were distributed to increase awareness of safe medication storage, reduce the risk of misuse, and support families in keeping homes safer.

This work represents an important step in community-based opioid prevention—empowering churches, families, and local leaders to take an active role in protecting youth and vulnerable individuals.

We are grateful for the continued partnership of faith-based organizations working together to strengthen prevention and promote safety.
